In Colombia, the Andes mountain range passes right through the heart of it. The mountain range continues until Venezuela to the east of Colombia. Throughout the whole section of the Andes that passes through Colombia the highest point is about 18,947 feet above sea level. This is also the highest point in Colombia and is named Pico Cristóbal Colón. The mountain has many neighboring mountains with a similar height but the Pico Cristóbal Colón stands out the most out of all of the mountains near it. The point pokes through the clouds with its snowy white tip and is located near the southern tip of Colombia right next to Venezuela. Also, Pico Cristóbal Colón is around the same height as Pico Simón Bolívar with a height of 18,799 feet. This point has an astonishing view with many fascinating pictures taken of it.
